The Popcaan-owned Unruly Entertainment, managed by his older brother Demonie Wilson, has announced the official signing of their first artiste, Chi Ching Ching.

The announcement was made just as Popcaan left the island for a two-week tour of Europe that will be followed by a performance at Reggae Sumfest on July 16.

We wanted an artiste that represented our label, who was loved by the streets and who people from all ages and diverse backgrounds could listen to. (We wanted someone) with a global appeal and approach to music, and we believe we made the best selection with Chi Ching Ching."

Ching recently scored his biggest hit so far with Way Up, Stay Up. His collaboration with Popcaan, Nah Go Home, is currently enjoying good response. He will also release his debut EP that will feature songs like Kickout and Coob Dem Up.

In addition, Chi Ching Ching will perform on the Pepsi Refresh tour series and is looking forward to his performance at Reggae Sumfest on July 18.
