"Chat Dem A Chat, Dem Fraid A Me" Maestro Don Tells Devin Di Dakta

After throwing shade in a recent interview on Nightly Fix aired on NewsTalk 93FM, emerging dancehall artiste Devin Di Dakta has found himself in the cross-hairs of Waterford lyricist Maestro Don.

During the interview when quizzed about the subliminal insults and Twitter rants aimed at Maestro Don and others, Devin Di Dakta denied the allegations citing that his social media account was hacked and the disparaging comments made by said perpetrators. The blue haired singer also use the opportunity to inflict further insult claiming he is not familiar with Maestro Don nor has he ever heard any of his songs on radio or at any social gatherings despite Maestro Don having several songs in rotation across the space.

When contacted Maestro Don reiterated that he does not have Twitter fingers and is not going to get into any social media rant with anyone he would rather put his thoughts into what he does best and that's music.

The artiste has since released a new single dubbed 'Fraid A Me' taking lyrical shots at Devin Di Dakta and was also quick to highlight that he was not doing this for STING nor attention but as an artiste if a man disrespect you it is important to defend your honour and brand.

"If a man call my name or try style me I am going to respond lyrically, because this is dancehall you can't allow people to sully your brand and you remain quiet. We ah nuh weak fence so if them have something to say tell them put it inna song and mek the people see if them bad as they trying to make people think."

Maestro Don is currently promoting his name single 'Grateful' for which an official video has also been released.
