Hapilos Entertainment recording artiste Flexx and Gully boss Mavado may have a rift brewing following an incident involving law enforcement officials.
Last
week Flexx who hails from the Grants Pen community was named as a person of interest by police. Its understood that the deejay was unable to report to the station as he was on tour overseas allegedly with Mavado. However, Mavado in a statement to the media rubbished those claims, stating that Flexx was
not touring with him.
It appears the incident sparked a dispute
between the two, leading Flexx to make some disparaging remarks about his former mentor via Blackberry and other social platforms. Despite these claims sources close to the camp intimated that the Gully Squad is still united.
“As
with any incident of that nature it can cause tension, but the Gully is
a united family and wi nah beef with one another, so people fi stop
spread rumors,” the source said.
Flexx has since returned to the
island and ironed out his legal woes. The lawmen removed the deejay
from their person of interest list last week. The entertainer was accompanied by his attorney Tom Tavares-Finson who is also representing embattled dancehall star Vybz Kartel.
Last weekend, Flexx was interviewed on the popular entertainment program 'Onstage' where he took time out to set the record straight as to what unfolded between himself and Mavado
