Darkcide International Plans 'Hostile Takover' For Summer

Established Jamaican sound system Darkcide International over the weekend released their first of two official mixtapes for the summer titled, ‘Hostile Takeover’.

The 86-track compilation chronicled by DJ Calico and Acid is a blend of hip hop and dancehall interspersed with interludes, skits, dubplates and several exclusives. Another unique feature is the adaptation of a live party vibe despite being a studio mix. The project’s array of talent includes: Aidonia, Vybz Kartel, Ninja Kid, Busy Signal, Konshens, I-Octane, Masicka, Popcaan, Tommy Lee, Blak Ryno, Jahmiel, DeeWun and Protoje among others.

Produced on the Darkcide Internationl imprint, Hostile Takeover is available for download free of cost at: facebook.com/darkcide

“We expect to achieve good numbers with this latest disc, as with our previous offerings. There’s an intense promotional campaign planned for the summer. ‘Hostile Takeover’ as the name suggests is our way of implying we intend to leave a lasting impression this festive season.” – says manager Shadow.

In the weeks to follow suit, Darkcide will release a second compilation from stablemate DJ SoSick the project remains untitled.
