Jahvinci Heads To Europe This Summer

Dancehall star Jahvinci is looking forward to a busy Summer as he cranks up the promotion of his new single, Drop A Night for Triple Dose Productions.

“The song is getting a great response in the streets so far, ZIP, IRIE, and HITZ ah play it hard, it’s a great look,” Jahvinci said.

The Watch Yu Friends singer is relishing his artistic freedom since leaving the Portmore Empire.

“I am building a new team, writing great songs, working hard, I have been getting a lot of encouragement from other artistes to just go out and do my thing and get my music and voice out there, I am not going to let them down, mi ah go just dweet,” he said.

He  also shot a video for the single, Make Money Easy, that he will be releasing in August.   Jahvinci recently performed during Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay.

He hit the stage singing ‘Guide me’ before seguing neatly into ‘Through Mi Know’. The temperature inside the venue spiked when he did ‘Watch Yu Friends’ and a few torches stabbed at the night sky.

He then did ‘Real Woman’ to a chorus of screams before he launched into a medley of the hits, Birthday and Mama Love, and his last number one hit, In My Life, the latter evoking a huge roar from the audience. He closed his set with the popular radio hit, ‘Remedy’.

“I really enjoyed the show, working for the people of Montego Bay, this is my second straight year on the festival and it has always been a great experience,” he said.
Jahvinci will next hit the stage at the Mobay Jerk Fest on August 1st, and he will perform in St. Elizabeth on the JCDC’s ‘Kulcha Yaad’ in St. Elizabeth on August 5th.

“After those local performances, the next thing on the agenda is a month long tour of Europe, I will be away from the middle of August to September. It will be a good opportunity to bring reggae and dancehall music to all corners of Europe,” Jahvinci said.

Jahvinci has been locked away in the studio for the past couple of months, churning out singles for an album that he hopes to release this fall.
