Downsound Records CEO Suspends Several Artistes

Downsound Records C.E.O Josef Bogdanovich at a recent meeting had less than favourable remarks for some of the artistes under the recording imprint.

The meeting attended by a number of the camp's employees saw the Downsound boss venting his disapproval at the lackluster attitude of some of the talents while lauding others such as newly signed act Khago.

According to Bogdanovich, presently Aidonia has the hottest song in Dancehall while Popcaan, Tommy Lee, and Konshens are all being touted as the future leaders to move the genre forward.

"What are you going to do to beat these artistes in December, when you're not even being considered" he asked members of the gathering before citing some of the talent as being 'socially inept despite their lyrical prowess.

Closer to the adjournment of the meeting, several acts we retained, some dismissed, others suspended with a stern warning. Bogdanovich then ended the meeting with some unpleasantries.
