After giving a good account of himself in Barbados, Dancehall front-runner Aidonia is now back in the island and continues to dominate the local scene with a plethora of hits.
Over the weekend the deejay accompanied by members of his entourage invaded the very popular Chug It beach party delivering an explosive performance to the hundreds in attendance.
Amidst all the fanfare the J.O.P leader took the time out to introduce protege' Deablo and declared that he was the 'baddest young artiste' presently who's destined to explode in 2013. The announcement was proceeded by some very venomous lyrics from the young talent much to the approval of the crowd.
Despite Aidonia's claims some fans of the genre on social media sites have touted fellow Dancehall lyricist Masicka as the 'artiste to watch for 2013' while others hint at a possible showdown between the two.
Deablo recently scored his first No.1 for the collaborative effort 'Run Road' with mentor Aidonia. Meanwhile, Masicka continues to gain momentum on the airwaves. Who will prevail? only time will tell.
