Dancehall Producer Blackspyda Robbed At Gunpoint

Former Jamaican under-19 cricketer turn Dancehall producer Frederick Wright more popularly known as Blackspyda is today counting his lucky stars after a brush with death during a robbery over the weekend.

The ordeal unfolded on Saturday, November 24 when the Blackspyda Records head honcho went to purchase phone credit at a popular gas station and found himself staring down the barrel of a gun after several men invaded the facility in a heist.

During the melee the producer was stripped of his Apple and Blackberry smartphones but was not physically hurt by the armed thugs.

Recounting the ordeal Spyda took to social media tweeting, "just got robbed at gun point all they got was my iphone and my bb but God a watch and a guide me!! different medz now!! done chat!!" He continued, "step outta di car fi guh buy a credit fimi moms and man come hold up the gas station"
Blackspyda has worked with some of the biggest names in the local music industry including Bounty Killer, Aidonia, I-Octane, Kiprich, Demarco among others and is best known for the 'Good Memories' rhythm currently enjoying favourable rotation on the FM airwaves.
