With the festive season in full throttle Dancehall producer and teenage prodigy Markus Myrie once again has something to smile about following his nomination for 'Producer Of The Year' in the 2012 Jamaica Star People's Choice Awards.
The category also features six additional contenders namely: Chimney Records, UIM Records, TJ Records, Teetimus, Cashflow Records and Washroom Entertainment. Despite being the rookie of the group, the Markus Records C.E.O. is heavily favoured to clinch the award.
Readers are encouraged to vote by visiting the media outlet's official website.
Myrie's nomination comes on the heels of his recent signing of Dancehall newcomers D'East and Bryka to his record label and the release of the heavily rotated Street Bomb and Bar Bounce Rhythms featuring ace deejays Mavado, Bounty Killer, Blak Ryno, Beenie Man, Ninja Kid, Flexx, Kiprich, I-Octane among others.
