Reggae Singer Sanchez Confirmed For Linkage Awards

Reggae crooner Sanchez, who rose to prominence globally with hit singles “Loneliness Won’t Leave Me Alone” and “Lady in Red” will be a featured performer at the 2013 Linkage Awards that takes place at Mt. Vernon High School in New York on Saturday, March 16, 2013, producer Dexter "Linkage" Blake said.

Sanchez - born Kevin Jackson - in his distinguished career has gone from strength to strength with each release. He has stormed the charts with hits such as “Never Dis The Man”, and “One In A Million” while covering love songs and R&B hits. Sanchez will join living legend Bunny Wailer - a member of iconic reggae group The Wailers which comprised Bob Marley and Peter Tosh - singer John Holt, Coco Tea and Lady Saw who will each be awarded USA proclamations by the Mayor of the City of Mt. Vernon, Ernest Davis in recognition of their contributions to the development of reggae music.

The 2013 Linkage Awards will also recognize a number of other top artistes, producers and radio DJs in numerous categories including male/female "DJ of the Year," "Best New Artiste," "Song of the Year," Singjay of the Year" and "Radio DJ of the Year."
