Dancehall Duchess Tiana Kicks Off First European Tour

As she looks to strengthen her already wide-ranging fan base, the Dancehall Duchess, Tiana will kick start her biggest series of shows to date as she is set to begin her first ever European tour on April 13.

After leaving the island Wednesday, Tiana is expected to perform her first show on the world's largest continent in Vienna, Austria. The show will feature other female deejays from around the world, including Lady Louise from Sweden, Aisha Bee from Hungary and DJ Mad Betty  from Italy.

According to Tiana its not just an experience but also the perfect opportunity to build a bigger fan base. She also said, "I am really feeling good about this tour as its my first time travelling to Europe... I also want to say thanks to the Promoters of the Tour I-motion Sound for the hard work they have done behind the scenes... alongside Carlington my manger and Chris Rock.

Other key dates on this highly anticipated tour include her April 27 show in Dortmund, Germany and The Hague, Netherlands on April 29, with two shows in Italy on May 4 in Rome and May 11 in Catanzaro. The Dancehall Duchess Tiana will also be in Munich, along with a few more pending shows.

Following her Euro-trip, the Dem a Bawl singer will head to Canada for a pair of shows and will also be in the island of St. Maarten for a show June 1st.

2013 has been all about gauging different audiences worldwide for Tiana, as evidenced by her collaboration with Canadian singer and songwriter, Jesse Giddings for the single, Back To Me. The pop-reggae single, influenced by Celine Dion's classic, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, was officially released via iTunes on April 2 and produced by veteran hit-maker, Kemar 'Flava' McGregor.

Additionally, the Duchess was named as Kenya's female artist of the year at the Kingston 10 Awards and has been releasing singles to maintain her relevance within the local scene with songs such as Bruk Pocket Bwoy produced by Elvis of So Unique Records... Dutty Bwoy(Wutliss Bwoy) produced by Seani B from BBC Radio 1Xtra and Freaky Man, a remix of Vybz Kartel's Freaky Gyal (Part 3).
