Demarco Building Momentum for 2015

The year is still fresh and Demarco has been releasing a slew of new songs to add to the momentum he built during 2014.

Last year, Demarco made waves with songs like Good Book, Bun Up Road and Puppy Tail. For 2015, Demarco has not taken his foot off the gas, as he has already released numerous songs including Real Thugs featuring Rhogue, Levels To This, Gud Up Gud Up Muma, Text Back, Celebrate My Life, Dem Two Hand Ya, Wap Dem and Stay Inna Mi Lane.

According to his publicist, Raymond 'Shadow' Small, Demarco has been recording extensively in recent times.

"Demarco records almost every day, so we have quite a bit of songs in the repository. It is part of his whole rebranding exercise. You are seeing a lot more of Demarco with 'Talk Yuh Mind', on Instagram and other platforms," he told the Media

He noted that Demarco's attitude towards recording can only be compared to Vybz Kartel in his heyday.

"He also has a portable studio, so wherever it is, hotel room or tour bus, he is constantly recording," he said.

Despite the frequent releases, Small is confident that the songs will not overshadow each other.

"Some songs will break faster than others, but different songs are for different audiences," he said, adding that an album will be released this year.

While the songs make the rounds in Jamaica, Demarco will also have his hands full overseas, as he recently completed three shows in the United Kingdom over the weekend and has now kicked off his Europe tour for one month. Thereafter, he will have shows in St Maarten, Canada, United States and Tortola.

"He is booked solid right back until summer," Small told the Media.

For this year, Small said Demarco will be even more visible than he was last year, as there will be more songs, music videos and a stronger presence on social media.
