Demarco Wraps Successful European Tour

Within hours of returning to Jamaica following a month long sojourn in Europe, international Dancehall star Demarco was the victim of a serious road accident which could have claimed his life if it wasn’t for his reflexive action after his motor car was hit by a Trailer truck travelling in the same direction in the vicinity of Kings Plaza on Red Hills Road. The incident which occurred at approximately 3pm on Wednesday afternoon caused a major traffic pile-up on Eastwood Park and Red Hills Road.

According to Demarco he was driving on Red Hill Road when he notice a trailer truck had breached its lane subsequently hitting the driver’s side of his car.

“Firstly I have to give thanks for life and that no one was seriously injured, I was just in the car heading to a business assignment when I saw the trailer pulled alongside and hit my driver’s door forcing me to swerve quickly to avoid possible getting crushed beneath the wheel. Aside from a minor scratch I am physically ok. The matter has been reported to the Half-Way-Tree Police and they are currently investigation the circumstances surrounding the incident.”

“I also want to use this opportunity to implore our motorist to be more responsible when using the roadways as too many persons have died carelessly especially in situations which could have been avoided since the start of the New Year”- Demarco added.

Meanwhile, the blonde hair singer was in Europe from February 4th – March 4th on a 20-city tour of that continent with stops in Paris, Stockholm, Venice, Berlin, Vienna, Zurich, Geneva, Pescara, Rome, Caen, Rennes, Hamburg and Duselldorf among several others popular cities. Demarco says the tour was a resounding success despite the frigid weather conditions associated with that region and thanked his European fans for their continued support. Aside from the classics his latest hits such as ‘Good Book’ , Puppy Tail, Bad Gyal AnthemBun Up Road’ and Lazy Body were well received throughout the expanse of the tour. As part of his new visual campaign Demarco also brought along his True Gift Entertainment  (TGE) film crew to document the tour which will be featured in upcoming episodes of the new season of his reality series ‘Talk Yuh Mind’.

Locally the artiste and his team are gearing up to launch an aggressive promotional campaign for three new singles namely ‘Celebrate My Life’, ‘Text Back’ and ‘Levels To This’ the latter featured on the Kick Dem Riddim produced by popular radio personality ZJ Bruce Lee.
