Reggae Singer Dann-I To Headline Road Safety Campaign

In commemoration of Road Safety month, popular entertainer Dann-I fresh from his performance at the 2015 People's Choice STAR Awards is lending his talent to strengthen the campaign of sensitization being undertaken by the Road Safety Unit of the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing.

The campaign geared at reducing the level of motor vehicle related deaths on the roads, will feature a concert dubbed “Live Road Safety Reap the Rewards” slated for the UDC Car Park on Saturday June 13.

Eclectic singer, Dann-I who is billed for the event, told the media that he is pleased to partake in an initiative to help raise awareness about Road safety.

The National Road Safety Council was established in 1993 as a non-profit organization by public and private sector interest groups.

Its mandate is to develop and implement road safety promotional activities, conduct public education programmes and to act as a lobby group for the promotion of road safety.

June is celebrated as Road Safety month.
