Fast rising deejay Govana, a member of the 4th Genna recording imprint continues to make steady in-rows on the local and international music scene.
Following the recent addition of his singles 'Happy' and 'No Complaining' to radio outlets in Florida, Los Angeles and the New York Tri-State area, the bourgeoning star has also been reaping success on the local charts. Produced by Dinero Production 'Happy' currently occupies the No.7 spot on the Magnum Pree Dis Dancehall Top Ten chart and continues to show steady momentum each week.
"I am very happy with the progress I am seeing and fans can expect a lot from me in the weeks ahead. We currently have several new singles to release for a number of top producers along with a few videos, the first of which will be 'Shallow Grung'".
Speaking of 'Shallow Grung', Govana on Sunday afternoon unveiled the official video for the aforementioned via his Vevo channel at youtube.com/GovanaVevo which has amassed over 11,000+ views already in a matter of hours. The visuals was shot by 300K throughout the thoroughfares of Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Catherine.
Alluding to the new shot in the arm his career has gotten Govana said,
“The journey has been like a roller coaster in a lot of way, but there is nothing that I regret. The tougher the battle, the sweeter the victory. I've had to fight to reach where I am and the fighting has helped me to cement myself in the streets of Jamaica. I've paid my toll and I'm happy to finally see the highway,” he added.
