Tosh Alexander Invigorates The YVAs, Ready For Reggae Sumfest [WATCH VIDEO]

For Tosh Alexander, Reggae Month was nothing short of astounding as the burgeoning songstress equipped with her dancers delivered a pair of invigorating performances at the renewed season of 'Unplugged' hosted by Usain Bolt Tracks & Records and the 2018 instalment of the Your View Awards (YVAs). The latter held last Saturday at the National Indoor Sports Center. Still, on a musical high the alluring singer has even more reasons to celebrate following the revelation that she has been officially added to the line-up for this year's Reggae Sumfest.

Slated for July 15-21 in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the high publicised festival will also feature confirmed acts Beres Hammond, Sizzla Kolanji, Damian Marley, Maxi Priest, Capleton, Aidonia, Popcaan and Ding Dong.

Alluding to the announcement a very enthused Tosh intimated that, "It has always been one of my goals to be able to perform on major festivals of this calibre, and I am both thrilled and thankful to be given this opportunity ."

Recapping her career over the past months Alexander says, she is very pleased with the current trajectory and is looking forward to the release of several new projects for the month of March. Aside from the success of her Christmas EP 'An Island Christmas' and '911' featuring Reggae royalty Ky-mani Marley -Tosh's 'Light It Up' released in January has indeed been lighting up the airwaves. So much so it sparked the attention of famed EDM DJ, Rico Bernasconi who is putting the finishing touches on a remix of the captivating tune.

Dubbed one of the emerging stars to watch the petite songbird not only brings her pristine vocals but a wealth of experience from her sojourn in the U.S, working alongside international stars namely  Pharell Williams, Busta Rhymes, Nicki Minaj, FloRida, Fabulous and The Game.
