Growing Demand For Govana, Artiste Premiers 'One And Move' Video [WATCH VIDEO]

Dancehall hot ticket Govana is not only dominating the entertainment scene locally, but his presence seems to be rapidly gaining momentum within the diaspora, with a noticeable surge in demand across the Caribbean archipelago and North America.

Billed as one of the headliners for the highly publicised Reggae Sumfest 'Dancehall Night' which unfolds on July 20 at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay. Govana is set to embark on a Caribbean/North American stint thereafter. Alluding to his upcoming Sumfest solo debut, Govana insists he only has one thing to say "Ready".

With a myriad of singles such as 'Gyal Clown', 'Better Than That', 'Breeze, Bake Bean, Hot Topic and One and Move' enjoying premium rotation across the space, the 4th Genna hitmaker is solidly booked for the summer with local engagements in Mandeville, St. Elizabeth, Ocho Rios and Negril before switching to the international landscape for assignments in St. Kitts, Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Grand Cayman and Canada.

In a statement to the Media, Govana says he is very happy with the current trajectory of his career with plans afoot for a series of visual releases in the weeks ahead.

"Right now I am very pleased with how my career is looking, everything is where it needs to be so we're just allowing the music to do the work and continue to build the brand through performances and other promotional avenues. We're working on several new projects and some new visuals most of which will be released soon. Aside from that, the focus is still on my debut EP, which will be something memorable."

Taking home some silverware earlier in the year for 'Breakthrough Artiste' and bullying his way onto the BBC 1Xtra Chart, Govana continues to break new ground has the weeks unfold scoring several consecutive chart-toppers in the process. The deejay on Thursday afternoon released the official visuals for his summer anthem 'One and Move', currently trending in the No.1 spot on Youtube. The video was shot by RD Studios.
