If his current momentum and most recent performances are any indicators to go by, then it's fair to say that patrons at the upcoming Reggae Sumfest slated for July 15 -21 at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, will be in for quite a festive treat. This as Dancehall artiste Teejay, one of their homegrown talents is all set to serve up a musical delight on the highly anticipated Dancehall Night set for Friday, July 20.
A native of the Glendevon community in the parish, Teejay says that all systems are in place and he is ready to bring his energized brand of music to the people of the second city.
"Everybody knows that Montego Bay is my place and Reggae Sumfest in one of the biggest festivals in the Caribbean for our music. So based on those factors alone I have to make sure to bring my 'A-Game' when I touch the stage on Dancehall Night."
Quizzed if he felt pressured to deliver the 'Buss Head hitmaker said,"No! because Mobay already knows what I'm capable of when it comes to performing. It's just the outsiders will now get a chance to see for themselves."
Teejay who recently wrapped up a pair of fiery performances at Chromatic Live and 100 Live, the latter held at 100 Hope Road, is currently one of the hottest new picks in dancehall and continues to heat up the airwaves and social scene with his gritty street anthems 'Buss Head' and 'Up Top'. Both of which have amassed millions of views online.
According to his management, the artiste is fully booked for the summer and is expected to make appearances at several high profiles local events before jetting off to the Caribbean for a few assignments throughout the region.
