The Organised Crime Investigation Division has charged a man believed to be the main player behind the pornographic website called Jamaican Girls Exposed.
The Police arrested 27-yr-old Ronald Oates on Monday and he was slapped with multiple charges under the cyber crimes act and the larceny act today. Oates who was arrested at his home where several computers, mobile phones, wireless modems, jump drives and telephone sim cards were seized.
In a press conference this morning officials of OCID stated that the arrest was made after aid was received from overseas police personnel. Oates is to face the court on September.
According to the lawmen the allegations are that Oates would hack into women’s email account and threaten to post nude photos of them if they did not pay him.

It's understood that he demanded between $10,000 and $20,000 for the photos not to be posted online.
The highest amount received from one person is $150,000, the police said. They added that the official number of women affected is 25, but the number could be in the 100s based on information unearthed when the arrest was made.
