Wada Blood Ready For Western Consciousness

With a new team in place and rehearsals complete all systems are set to go for Dancehall and Reggae singer Wada Blood who is confirmed to perform this weekend at the annual Western Consciousness concert in the second city.

The event which gets on the way this Saturday, April 13th at the Montego Bay Sporting Complex will see Wada Blood sharing the stage which some of the biggest names in Reggae and Dancehall including Marcia Griffiths, John Holt, Junior Reid, Bounty Killer, Everton Blender, I-Wayne and Romain Virgo among others.

Wada, fresh from a musical split with brother Andrew, says he plans to deliver a good performance comprising of his previous hits interspersed with some of the newer material while re-introducing himself as a solo act.

The ‘Irie’ and ‘Hustle Till I Die’ singer is now putting the final touches on his soon-to-be released video for ‘My Mother’, a song which pays homage to the mothers of the world and tells a tale of a son torn between family and vanity. This is the follow up to his conscious effort ‘Rastafari Way’which was recently added to the playlist of St. Lucia’s number one radio station Hot 105FM.
