Jay-A & Mavado Collaborates on 'Hundred Dollar Bill Friend'

Tarik Morris better known as Jay-A has been making his mark since he premiered his new music direct to his Jamaican audience over a year ago. That mark has remained un-phased since the success of his ‘Vans’ and ‘Pure In Heart’ singles produced by Vexxx Bad records, added to the recent success of ‘Mama’ on Kingston Elite’s Piano Ballad Riddim.

Now Jay-A has premiered another hot track! This time he has hit it hard with The Gully God himself, Mavado!  ‘Hundred Dollar Bill Friend’ produced by Vexxx Bad Records has been receiving quite a bit of interest since its release a few days ago and Jay-A is excited about this new project in particular.

It was great finally getting the track finished because is long time we working on it and we know that this will be the anthem of the streets very soon’ Jay-A remarked on the release of the collaboration
‘I’ve always wanted to work with Gully God and just being in studio with him was a real cool vibe, we move more like a family than anything else and I look forward to working with Mavado more and performing alongside him over the coming weeks’

Jay-A isn't new to performing though as he has been around the world on tour with Pop Sensation Sean Kingston, jay-A’s younger brother, as recently as 2010.

He sees making a mark on the Jamaican market as necessary however for his Dancehall career. With the release of ‘Hundred Dollar Bill Friend’ and its increased rotation all over the world, Jay-A is sure that he has made this mark and has no intention of seeing it erased. Vexxx Bad Records is currently coordinating with Mavado’s Camp to get a video shot soon for the hot single.
