Fresh from a musical split with brother Andrew, and a commendable performance at the recent Western Consciousness concert, Wada Blood is now re-introducing himself as a solo act.
The ‘Irie’ and ‘Hustle Till I Die’ singer this week premiered his first official video for 2013 to coincide with the upcoming Mothers Day celebrations.
Aptly titled ‘My Mother’, the song pays tribute to the mothers of the world and tells a tale of a son torn between family and his female lover. The video was directed by David Sinclair and MGP Films.

This is the follow up to his conscious effort ‘Rastafari Way’, which was recently added to the playlist of St. Lucia’s most popular radio station Hot 105FM. Prior to his performance the singer sat down with Janice Young of Fame 95FM Fireside for an in-depth interview.
