Demarco Shuts Down Nairobi & Donates To School

It seems that Kenyans can’t get enough of Demarco as the international superstar was forced to seek refuge in his hotel room following a performance at the sold out Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi, Kenya.

Billed as headliner for the Kude Kude concert, Demarco performed for almost an hour and a half to the massive crowd, who responded to his every word. One of the evening’s highlight was the surprise introduction of Kenyan music star Redsan by the Jamaican to thunderous cheers as the two did a live remix of Redsan’s smash hit ‘Badder Than Most’.  Closing off his set with the mega-hit ‘I Love My Life’ Demarco thanked the Kenyan for their patronage before heading backstage for photo opts and fielding questions from the international media.

Returning to his abode, Demarco escorted by heavy security detailing had to make a hasty scamper as several females tried desperately to no avail to gain access to the entertainer’s room. Due to the constant influx of female fans the hotel administration was forced to implement additional security on the premises for the artiste’s safety.  One woman even went as far as relaying her story to the African media as to why she was stalking the singer.

Prior to his departure Demarco also recorded a collaboration with African star Redsan and performed in the city of Mombasa. In keeping with his ongoing thrust towards education and youth empowerment the ‘Continue Whine’ singer also made a donation of an undisclosed sum along with well needed food and household supplies to children at a school in Kenya.  The musical virtuoso is now en route to Guinea for a concert this Saturday, June 22 in the capital city of Conakry.
