Aidonia Rocks Bahamas & Suriname and Set To Launch Educational Initiative

Despite a more passive persona and renewed spirit, Dancehall artiste Aidonia has certainly not tempered his zeal for the fans who continues to crave his musical offerings. The entertainer recently delivered a pair of exhilarating performances to concert goers in Bahamas and Suriname.

After stamping his authority on the Rum-Bar sponsored FrenchBook over the Jamaican Independence weekend Aidonia and his team departed the island for Nassau, Bahamas where he whipped up a frenzy-filled set to the large outpouring with song like ‘Fi Di Jockey’ and ‘Run Road’ among other fan favourites. Following the sweat drenched performance the deejay thanked patrons and the Bahamian media amid encouraging them to continue supporting Reggae and Dancehall music.

With very little rest and a hectic schedule he was off to the Dutch speaking republic of Suriname as headliner for a concert alongside label-mate Deablo and several local acts. Staged at the Flamboyant Park in the capital city Paramaribo the Jamaican did not disappoint in spite of the apparent language barrier as fan came out in their droves to get a glimpse of the JOP boss.

“It is always a pleasure performing for the fans especially the international ones who don’t speak the same language as you, yet they know every word to your songs. This bears testament and speak volumes to the power of music.” – Aidonia said.

Meanwhile, locally aside from adding the final touches of his ‘1Voice’ clothing line, Aidonia is gearing up to spearhead a new educational initiate that will see him and members of his camp doing more philanthropic work aimed at rendering assistance to children from various communities and socio-economic background.
“As an individual and an artiste  there are many changes that are coming from me and this is just another step in the direction of positivity and upliftment. The youths are the future of this nation so we have to nuture and care for them in any way we can be it economical, financial, social or otherwise.” – Aidonia added.
