As the Yuletide season unfolds the local entertainment space becomes awash with activities of various offerings. Amid the list of these top tier events is the live concert series ‘Behind The Screen’ held at the popular Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records Sports Bar in Market Place on Constant Spring Road.
With some of the biggest names in Dancehall and Reggae gracing its stage, this week will be no different as red hot entertainer Demarco is set to take centre-stage giving fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with him this Tuesday.
According to Demarco on Tuesday, December 9th patrons can come expecting an action packed showcase as he unravels his impressive catalogue of hits a feat seldom afforded to him locally due to his hectic tour schedule.
“Since the start of the year I have not done many live band shows in Jamaica due to my extensive tour schedules. Hence this is now an opportunity for me to do that and reconnect with the local audience. It will be a special performance, different from what people have grown accustomed to seeing. Therefore I am encouraging everyone to come out and help us to make the night a memorable one.”
Demarco will also be using the platform to distribute free copies of his new mixtape titled ‘Bun Up Road’ along with the premier of his official video for the monster hit ‘Puppy Tail’ the latter currently saturating the FM airwaves. Enjoying one of the best years of his career the singer says the video and mixtape forms part of his continued promotional thrust heading into the New Year. Showtime is set for 10pm, the event is sponsored by Red Stripe, Onstage TV, The Jamaica Observer, It’s Pixel Perfect, Nirvana Magazine and In Motion Research.
