Jim Kelly Gets Attention with "Nuh Trust Nobody"

After reaping some level of success earlier in the year with the remix of ‘On & On’ featuring Kalado, Dancehall singjay Jim Kelly continues to enjoy an upward trend in his career. The artiste hailing from Christiana, Manchester recently shot and released the video for his follow-up single ‘Nuh Trust Nobody’ which continues to garner favourable rotation on the FM Airwaves.

Produced on Kelly’s own Real Linx Records the song also features fellow entertainer Bastic as the two sings about ‘not being easily trustworthy of people’ as is indicative of the title.

Premiered last week via his official VEVO channel (Youtube.com/JimkellyVEVO) the visuals were shot throughout the Kingston and St. Andrew metropolis with stops in Port Royal and DunKirk, the latter an enclave in the Downtown Kingston community.

Kelly says he is very pleased with the progress and feedback both the song and video has been receiving and explains that plans are in motion to amp the campaign heading into the Christmas season. Kelly is also promoting his new mixtape ‘Real Linx’ hosted by DJ Kenny the compilation is available free of cost on Youtube and digital platforms.

“I am very happy with the progress the song, mixtape and video have been receiving on the various radio and television platforms and the fans are also giving us some positive feedback. So based on everything that’s happening we are fully  focused on increasing the promotion heading into the festive season”.

Though not yet a household name, Jim Kelly certainly is no stranger to the Jamaican music scene the young crooner has been dabbling into the local art form since 2009 working in the production sector alongside music stalwarts such as Ward 21 and Mark Pinnock of Natural Bridge; both credited with piloting the careers of Mr. Peppa and Konshens respectively.
