Facebook User Receives Death Threats For Criticizing Vybz Kartel [WATCH VIDEO]

A seemingly upset Facebook user racked up in excess of two thousand hateful comments under a picture they posted on a popular Vybz Kartel page saying that the controversial deejay 'should not and will never be freed.'

The Facebook post read:

“Vybz Kartel is a murderer yet still you treat this man like God. The man is responsible for over 100 murder, he is a f##king serial killer, mass murderer and yet still you guys award this man at the end of the year with trophies. What if one of those murders was your family. Vybz will never and should not be freed.”

The post drew the ire of the entertainers' legion of fans who held nothing back as they hurriedly converged on the page unleashing their wrath with a flurry of unsavory comments interspersed with several death threats.

Kartel whose given name is Adidja Palmer  was also the focus of recent remarks by fellow entertainer Beenie Man who signalled his intention to be more aggressive and vocal in the dancehall, citing that the industry is currently too dependent on the 'Worl Boss'.

"Who say dem a run the place, nah run the place. And the man who ah run the place, caan really run the place. You have to represent musically and visually," Beenie Man said.

Vybz Kartel now serving life imprisonment for the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams and will not be eligible for parole before 35 years. However, despite his incarceration, he continues to dominate the airwaves in Jamaica.

Beenie said the development is not good for the industry.

"You have to respect Addi work ethics, but him alone caan move dancehall forward. The King caan allow the general fi run the army," Beenie Man added.
