It appears with every passing day dancehall artiste Alkaline becomes more controversial; after removing his 'supposed tattooed eyes' on his 22nd birthday and posting a picture along with his new blonde locks on Instagram, the dancehaller has once again been thrust into the spotlight for his recent real estate claim.
Last month it was reported by several media outlets that the entertainer whose given name is Earlon Bartley had purchased a house valued at Jamaican $20.5 Million for his mother Sharmaine Bartley.
However the photo which went viral saw dancehall fans speculating that the image was Photoshopped and the artiste did not purchase a house. While others such as fellow entertainer Konshens used the opportunity to congratulate the artiste on his alleged accomplishment and for his hustling abilities.
Ironically, the moment was short lived as in a recent Facebook post a user by the name of Fay Greene claims she’s the rightful owner of the house, lashing out at the dancehall star for supposedly misleading the masses . Greene is also threatening legal action against the “Champion Boy” deejay.
