Dancehall artiste Stacious has once again added radio host to her list of accomplishments. The 'Come Into My Room' singer will be the new host of SunCity's 'Bounce' programme, which will air every Wednesday at 10 p.m.
"I was approached by the CEO Steve Billings, who asked me to join the SunCity family. I was actually offered more time slots, but I thought that a one-hour programme per week would work best for me right now, based on my schedule."
The one-hour programme will premiere on Wednesday, January 13, and will also feature fitness tips and nutritional production reviews.
"It's a talk programme where we feature hot topics and guests. We'll also be having a 'Bounce Back' segment, where fans can call in and give their input on the specified topics for that week," she added.
Stacious was also quick to point out that the programme will not be entertainment based, and, as such, will not feature up-and-coming artistes or new rhythms.
"I wanted to go in a new direction and I am very grateful to have been afforded the opportunity to do this. I'm looking forward to it," she stated.
This is Stacious' second time as a radio host, as she previously worked at NewsTalk 93 FM in 2013.
In the meantime, Stacious is working on projects and songs that will be featured on Aidonia's 4th Genna Productions. She is also working on a collaboration with Flexx, In The Complex, on Justin Arison's new rhythm.
