The management team of controversial dancehall artiste Alkaline has rubbished claims that the entertainer’s United States visa has been revoked.
According to Kareena Beckford, Alkaline’s manager, the entertainer’s US permit is valid and intact.
“It is all rumours. The artiste still has his work permit, so this is just another rumour that has been added to the long list,” she said in statement to the media.
Since the start of the week, reports have surfaced on several online media sites that the singjay’s visa was revoked on May 13.
Currently on a European gig, Alkaline is promoting his debut album New Level Unlocked which sits at number five on the Billboard Reggae Chart.
“His schedule is extremely tight right now as he will leave from Europe to Canada. This will be followed by the Caribbean in coming weeks. We continue to push and promote the album, and a printed copy of the CD will be available soon for purchase,” Beckford explained.
