Police were yesterday called to a scene where the burnt body of a newborn baby boy was found.
The lawmen say residents of Payne Avenue in St Andrew stumbled upon the body about 1:00 pm and summoned them. It was removed to the morgue for post mortem.
Investigators are now appealing to anyone with information that can assist them in finding the individual(s) responsible for this heinous act to contact them at 923-7111, Crime Stop at 311 or police 119 emergency number.
Information may also be given via the Stay Alert application, which is available for free download on Android devices.
