Vershon Steps Away From Local Controversy Into The International Spotlight [WATCH VIDEO]

After being embroiled in a number of controversies in recent times, Dancehall singjay Vershon has purged himself of that fractious environment, realigning his focus back on a path of positivity as he takes aim at the international market.

Best known for the hits 'Inna Real Life', 'Heart Too Clean' and 'Use To Hungry' this multi-talented hitmaker is definitely stepping away from all the controversy and into the international spotlight after landing a major collaboration with African superstar Shatta Wale. Wale, a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae/dancehall musician is best known for his breakthrough hit 'Dancehall King' for which he was awarded 'Artiste of the Year' at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards.

The track titled 'Can You', slated for release in short order is an infectious number geared towards the female populous that is destined to find its way onto the playlist of top-tier jocks upon official release.

In a statement to the media, Vershon explained, "In recent months I became distracted with a lot of situations that could have been avoided but I am now back on track and fully focused on what is important and that is elevating my career to the next level. I am currently working on a number of projects the first of which is this collaboration with Shatta Wale. Right now we will be launching an aggressive promotional campaign around it and others singles heading into the last quarter of the year. So fans can look out for a lot of upcoming activities from me."

Meanwhile, Vershon is also promoting his latest single 'My Success'  along with an accompanying video which can be viewed via his Vevo channel at Youtube.com/VershonVEVO.
