Jamaican dancehall star and We The Best recording artiste Mavado on Saturday night during a television interview broke his silence dispelling rumours of a rift between himself and his mentor Bounty Killer.
The singjay also shot down any possibilities of as lyrical showdown stating "Nobody nah go live long enough fi see Mavado war wid Killer because mi never forget where mi come from."
He continued, "More time tings gwaan, man and man vex and ting, but mi still ah big up the Alliance family___ at times, the media feed off the negativity, even in Jamaica, just like the other day. dem say mi chop up people and I was just driving my van going about my business."
The Gullyside boss intimated that he's focusing all his energies on getting his career to the next level.
"Mi just a deal wid mi career, mi have dancehall and reggae pon mi shoulder, mi a try bring it to an international audience, bring music to an international level wid We the Best."
Mavado who earlier this week rubbished rumours of him being shot in Miami stated,"the only thing a shot a mi career" is set to embarks on a 30 city tour of the United States beginning in October.
