Forensic Evidence In Vybz Kartel Murder Trial Submitted

On Monday detectives attached to the murder trial of Vybz Kartel handed over forensic evidence to the defence allegedly implicating the deejay and others in the murder of Clive 'Lizard' Williams.

According to report, investigators submitted the evidence to the Director of Public Prosecutions yesterday afternoon. Among the evidence turned over are the telephone data, video tape material, blood sample and other forensic material recovered from the crime scene.

The forensic report revealed that persons involved in the murder attempted to destroy the evidence by burning down the house. However, the house was not completely destroyed and blood stain taken from the scene were that of a human being.

Telephone conversations and text message data reportedly paint a horrific image of how Lizard’s body was disposed.

Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, is charged jointly with protege Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Stylist Calvin Haye, Andre St John, Kiro Jones and Sean Williams.

Vybz Kartel and his co-accused returns to court on Friday April 27th.

Last week, the judge ordered the prosecution to handover to the defense the tapes of the electronic recordings implicating the dancehall deejay.
