Notice Production Goes 'InTransit' With New Project

Four years ago, Notice Productions hit the charts with their catchy Holiday 'riddim', which yielded hits like singjay Ding Dong's song of the same name.

The label is back with the Intransit beat, which follows dancehall trends and features songs by top acts including Demarco, Alaine, Konshens, Sizzla, Jah Cure, Dre Island, Chezidek, and Iba Mahr.

The Intransit, which was recorded at Big Yard and Anchor studios, was released last week.
"Notice Productions' desire is to continue having a positive impact on the music, our generation and our people. Without a doubt, this riddim will feature a little 'sum'n' for everyone," says its CEO Wayne Thompson.

A graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Thompson went into production after playing drums in the Anger Management band for several years
.
That unit backed high-profile artistes including Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley, Mavado and Bounty Killer.
Rubbing shoulders with prominent acts made things easier for Thompson as a producer. He has had a good run with Notice Productions, which has released hit singles such as Busy Signal's Come Over, Chronixx's Access Granted and Future Fambo's This Life.

The Holiday remains Notice's signature piece. Led by Ding Dong's funky tune, it was the party beat of summer 2009. The producer is currently in the recording studios putting finishing touches to Chevaughn's EP entitled Hopeless Romantic.
