Unycorn Warns Against Under Age Sex In New Song

Known for hits such as ‘Never Been Touch’ and ‘Think Bout Me’ multi-talented artiste turn producer Unycorn has return to the Dancehall space with an infectious number titled '18 & Ova’. Aptly named, the collaborative effort featuring Tiana is produced by Donovan McMurray and Garfield Stewart and speaks to the act of Paedophilia and the condemnation of its immoral practitioners.

When asked the deejay explained that he got the inspiration for the song after observing the surfeit of minors in our society being abused and exploited for sexual favours by unethical adults.

“The song is based off my own observations; as an entertainer we are not just public figures but also role models, whether we like it or not. Lots of people especially children emulate us, so we have to be morally responsible and help with their protection against certain degenerate acts. Since everyone loves music I decided to make a song that people can enjoy while still imparting a positive message.” – Unycorn said.

Following its release, the collaboration has been enjoying premium rotation on the FM airwaves and several popular entertainment spots. According to Unycorn he’s happy with the progress and based on the feedback from the populous an aggressive promotional campaign is afoot heading into the festive season. An official video was also premiered last weekend via CVM Television’s ONStage to rave reviews.

Since emerging on the local music scene Unycorn has carved out his own niche producing some of the biggest hits the genres has seen including: Rasta Run Di World by Spragga Benz, Beenie Man’s - Swing It Away, Think Bout Me with Macka Diamond and Bounty Killer’s Cross Road.
