MTV IGGY Names Nesbeth Among Top Reggae Ambassadors

Fresh from his Each One Reach One Youth Tour hosted in conjunction with Conscious Reggae Party School Tour recently; Reggae firebrand Nesbeth has been attracting a lot of international attention with his thought provoking music. A recent article published by MTV IGGY, a division of Viacom Media Networks named the Jamaican crooner among an elite minority of local acts keeping the authentic Reggae genre alive.

The article titled ‘Jamaican Acts Keeping Roots Reggae Alive’ in commemoration of Bob Marley’s legacy stated,

Alluding to Nesbeth the media network wrote,
‘Roots reggae has seen an infusion of young talent in the last few years, but not all of its new hitmakers are overnight successes. Nesbeth has been working the circuit in Jamaica for years, but it wasn’t until 2014 that he had his breakthrough with the grassroots hit “Ole Gangalee.” The uplifting “Taste Victory” is his latest local hit in Jamaica.’

Responding to the feature Nesbeth said, “It’s an overwhelming yet humbling feeling to know that MTV IGGY has chosen to highlight my work which serves as further evidence that the music is reaching not just locally but also on an international level. It’s a good vibration that encourages us as artiste to push even harder to get the message out there to the four corners of the globe.”

Nesbeth is currently promoting the singles ‘Ole Gangalee’ and ‘Taste Victory’ amid preparation for an upcoming tour this summer.
