Popcaan's Album Hits No.2 On Billboard Reggae Chart

Dancehall artiste Popcaan has landed in the number 2 position on the Billboard Top Reggae Albums Chart.

The Unruly boss who was last week ranked number 15, is today in the number 2 position for the album “Where We Come From” after a 17 week run on the chart.

Bob Marley and the Wailers occupy the top spot with Easy Skanking in Boston 78.

Other Jamaicans in the Billboard Top 10 on the Reggae Albums Chart are Chronixx with “Dread and Terrible” rocking the number 6 position, 7th position is Etana for “I Rise”, Morgan Heritage is 8th with “Strictly Roots” and Byron Lee and the Dragonaires round out the top 10 with “Uptown Top Ranking”.

Popcaan recently collaborated with controversial American rapper Young Thug and producer-artiste Jamie XX for the single, Good Times.

The single was released last month, but has already received more than one million views on YouTube with little promotion. Young Thug is popularly known for his metro-sexual style of dressing, including the wearing of nail polish. He has also released a slew of hit records, including Lifestyle featuring Birdman and Rich Homie Quan and All About The Money with TI.

Jamie XX is an English music producer and remix artiste known both as a solo act and a member of the London-based band The XX.
