Denyque Now A Married Woman, Singer Ties Knot On The Beach [SEE PHOTO]


Jamaican songstress Denyque has definitely kicked off the New Year in high spirits. The singer who got engaged earlier this year (October 2016) tied the knot on Sunday, January 1, 2017 with her long time boyfriend Careen Mullings.

Dressed in all white the two got married in a private ceremony on the beach at an an undisclosed location in Jamaica. Denyque now join the ranks of Aidonia and Tony Matterhorn as entertainment celebrities who are married.

The former Miss Universe Jamaica, who inked a deal with ATL Motors in September 2015 as the new Volkswagen ambassador is best known for songs like “Supergirl,” “Make Me Believe You,” and “What About Love (feat. Chino).” She is also the owner of the growing swimwear line 'WET Swim'. In 2014 she was selected for the job as co-host of the Jamaica Premier League Football  Competition which airs on national television.

She recently completed the video for her new single 'Proud Wifey', and says she can't wait for the public to see it. The video was shot, directed and edited by HD Genesis Films from Atlanta, Georgia, and according to the singer, it captures the energy of the song.

"We came to the conclusion that we didn't want the video to necessarily speak to the lyrics of the song but more to the vibe. I loved every minute of filming," Denyque said.
