Lisa Hyper will start her U.S tour this week in Raleigh, North
Carolina this weekend before moving on to another gig in Richmond,
Virginia.
"The tour will also feature other artistes like Mr. Vegas, Demarco and Singer J," she said in a release.
The female deejay was recently granted a U.S work permit
and she plans to amp up her presence with radio interviews and gigs all
over the USA. Lisa Hyper will be promoting her debut album which
features several juicy tracks which cut across the genres of reggae,
dancehall, rap and even pop.
"Mi go all out to make this album a success, I feel
like every single pon the album is a hit, I swear to you...being in the
United States on a regular basis will give me a chance to get some of
the tracks on radio in states that are not traditionally strong
regions for dancehall..this is a big chance for personal growth in terms
of my music," she said.
She is also hoping to do a combination with the Queen of Dancehall Lady Saw in the future as a single.
Lisa Hyper plans to shoot a medley video for her new singles which include the radio hit, 'Power' on the Jam2 Production label.
"Mi just de ya ah creep before mi can walk, taking it to them
slowly but surely, my fans are going to be proud of me," she beamed.
"Expect the unexpected, it sticky pon dem."
Lisa Hyper recently performed on shows in Aruba, French Guiana and a
club show dubbed 'The Crowning of Lisa Hyper' in Spanish Town recently.
