"She's A Troublemaker", Lisa Hyper Lashes Out At Tifa

Another catfight may be brewing within the Dancehall industry as prominent ‘Gaza’ diva, Lisa Hyper has called out internationally acclaimed deejay, Tifa, branding her an undercover troublemaker.

Lisa Hyper and Tifa have been at odds ever since the former artiste was embroiled in a sex photo scandal in 2009 that made her a subject of ridicule amongst music lovers and industry players alike. For a while it seemed that the bad feelings steadily subsided as time elapsed, that is, until a Blackberry Broadcast Message issued by Lisa Hyper emerged in which she dissed Tifa while making reference to the Hold On deejay’s physical disability.

"How Tifa fi waan run the place and she cannot even walk? Just asking peeps". Bwoy, mi have a handicap cousin so mi no find it amusing, somebody caan talk to her and tell her fi just chill out a little. No man, she ah go too hard,” the message read.

Despite copping criticism for that message, Lisa Hyper pointed the proverbial finger at Tifa, implying that she uses her disability to garner sympathy and create mischief.

"Mi and Tifa have disagreement from 2009, so the broadcast message was just a cool reminder for her to cool herself and realize who is the boss. I went after her because I had a reason, I don't trouble people who don't trouble me and if somebody dis mi I am gonna dis dem back," Lisa Hyper added.

"Because Tifa know sey she special and people a guh defend her she always make trouble and get away with it ... she use disability to her advantage. Lisa Hyper love everybody, but people must not use certain circumstances to their advantage to dis others.”

Additionally, Lisa Hyper insisted that she took offence to the recent squabble between Tifa and the ‘Queen of Dancehall,’ Lady Saw, claiming that the Matie Wine deejay was out of line.

"She (Tifa) even dis the queen of dancehall and I found that disrespectful. Tifa can't perform as good as Lady Saw, suh how she fi try get the crown and she nuh reach da level deh. But true she special she dis Lady Saw and nobody nuh sey nothing. Bet sey if a did mi dis Lady Saw everybody woulda have something fi sey, suh it look like sey mi haffi guh mek scorpion sting mi to," she said.

Responding to Lisa Hyper’s claims, Tifa distanced herself from the drama.

"I don't have no time to comment on waste matter," she said.

Lisa Hyper has never been a stranger to controversy within the industry as she recently challenged fellow Dancehall divas, Gaza Slim and Spice along with the aforementioned Tifa to lyrical clashes at STING 2012. Lisa Hyper recently challenged claims from Gaza Slim that their long-time mentor, Vybz Kartel no longer favored fellow protégé, Popcaan and, like in her disagreement with Tifa, has been involved a squabble with Spice since 2009.

Meanwhile, Lisa Hyper will soon unveil her debut album, The Rebirth, which features appearances from Dancehall heavyweights like Beenie Man, Lady Saw and Spragga Benz as well as highly regarded hip-hop superstar, Laza Morgan. The former Portmore Empire artiste also will release her new mixtape, Split Personality and recently signed with American record label, Platinum Camp.
