Controversial Dancehall artiste David Brooks better known as Mavado was a recent guest of the popular Breakfast Club radio show aired on Power 105 in the U.S.
During the almost thirty minutes-long interview the singer addressed several matters including his rise to stardom, feud and subsequent collaboration with incarcerated Dancehaller Vybz Kartel, how he maintains relevance despite a physical absence, the friendship with DJ Khaled among several other topical issues.

Currently residing in the U.S, Mavado also took time out to address the burning issues about an alleged petition out for his deportation, dismissing it as "garbage" and also used the opportunity to set the record straight that he does not have a visa issue but merely a travel restriction hence the reason he has not been to Jamaica in over a year.
