In his first television interview since one of the biggest scandals in Dancehall history broke of his involvement in a love triangle with controversial female singer Ishawna and her former fiance Foota Hype, accomplished producer Skatta Burrell has decided to break his silence and set the record straight.
According to Skatta he was never involved in any love triangle or relationship with Ishawna which led to the bitter break-up with Foota Hype. Skatta further added that when he and the 'Need Love' singer became intimate she was no longer involved with Foota and he was merely lending some level of support to her.
He did admit however that since the revelation with him and Ishawna the friendship and working relationship he once shared with Foota Hype is no longer but intimated he had no hard feelings towards him despite the disparaging accusations being leveled against him by the selector .
Burrell and Hype recently shared judging duties on the popular Magnum Kings & Queens talent show where there were some obvious tense moments.
Speaking to Winford Williams of Onstage TV Skatta also addressed several other topical issues including the departure of veteran deejay Ninja Man and Specialist from Downsound Records; why Ishawna is now the leading act at the label and the way forward for the camp.
